Why UpSync Exists
Fire protection subcontractors run on Uptick — but when two organisations need to share data, the system wasn't built for that. UpSync bridges the gap.
Bi-directional task flow
Tasks created on either side flow automatically to the other. Your team and your contractor always operate from the same task list — no re-entry required.
One source of truth for assets
Asset registers stay aligned across both Uptick instances. When either side adds, updates, or decommissions an asset, the change propagates automatically.
Custom Configuration
Configure UpSync how you need it. Synchronisations can flow from one Uptick to another or bi-directionally for whichever data you need, whether it be just properties or the whole lot.
Photos that travel with the data
Remark photos sync bi-directionally between both systems. Your team sees every photo the contractor uploads — and vice versa — without a single manual transfer.
Quote markup in seconds
Replicate contractor defect quotes into your own system with automatic line-item markup. Set your margin once and let UpSync handle the rest.
UpSync exists so your team can focus on fire protection — not data entry.
Pricing
Transparent pricing that scales with your operation. Every plan includes onboarding support to get you syncing within a week.
Lite
For teams with a single subcontracting relationship.
Enterprise
RECOMMENDEDFor organisations managing multiple contractors at scale.

The sync schedule between servers is completely customisable, to be run at a time that suits your business.
Any conflicts in the data will show on your dashboard to be resolved. You will also recieve an email notification which will advise what will need to be done to fix the mapping. This will usually occur due to one party updating their Uptick configuration without you having any mapping to that data.
The cost of using UpSync relies on a couple things, how much data you put through the software, and how many features or connections you have. We have more details on our pricing section.
You can choose between syncing your data either one way - to receieve data such as properties, assets, tasks, routines straight into your system and skip the administration for setting these up, or both ways - which will allow you to skip the contractor portal and update the source system with the results of the assets, remarks, photos and more. It’s completely customisable for what you’d like to sync, so contractors and your customer are happy.
Yes, you can chose to add on the sync of asset or remark photos, making it so easy to share data.
We know that a time consuming task is replicating contractors defect quotes, which is why we’ve created the ability to automatically mark up your contractors quote with a certain percentage, at the click of a button or on a schedule. You can set a default value, such as 20%, which will be applied unless you choose to manually override it. This will then be entered into your system as a draft quote, ready for dispatch.
You can connect your Uptick to as many Uptick systems as you need. Your base subscription will have a certain amount of connections, but you can always add more. See more on the pricing section.
When a task is synced across, it will show that it has been created by UpSync. You can completely customise what you and your customer would like to show here when first getting started with Uptick, for example if you’d like access details, the scope of work, due date, priority etc. This can be different depending on the connection. The task is then just a normal old task for you to work with.
Once you’ve finished with it, if you have a 2 way sync, your data will flow back into their system without needing any manual handling. There’s also the option to add on defect quote markups etc, so everything is automated.
Yes, every connection is completely customisable, allowing you to recieve or update only the information you and your customer approve.
Yes. UpSync uses encrypted connections for all data transfers and does not store your Uptick data permanently — it acts as a secure bridge between the two systems. All communication happens over HTTPS, and access credentials are encrypted at rest. We follow industry best practices for data security and privacy.
We need access and permission from both parties to proceed with setting up a sync. Both parties will create a data sharing agreement before anything is put into place, which will allow the selection of what is shared. Common share points include things like tasks, assets and remarks for what is already shared on the contractor portal. Items you may decide to add onto this to improve the information is up to you.
